From another new blog read Gay Gadget, comes this artile about the new “International DJ” system. It seems like a really cool system. It has a “dance radar” that detects people dancing near it and begins playing music and opens up with a disco ball and brightly colored lights.

Sounds cool right?

Yeah, until I trip over the cord at 3 am trying to get a glass of warm milk (yes, I’m an old grandmother, why do you ask?) and on comes Mr. DJ to give me a blaring soundtrack as I wrestle with the cord and try to stand up while half asleep.

Suddenly Madonna starts blaring at a million decibels “MUSIC…MAKES THE PEOPLE…. COME TOGETHER…” and my neighbors start beating on the door, which I most likely forgot to lock. They burst in to find me writhing on the floor, half asleep, half naked (Ok, a sexy grandmother), thinking I’m being attacked by Madonna loving electrical snakes while the disco ball keeps spinning and the lights flash.

And all the LED sign on the front of it reads is “PARTY!!!!!!”

Yeah, I’ll pass.
