and the rain cleansed..

Outside I hear thunder as the promised thunderstorms approach across the mountains.
It’s been a long week of reporting here at the local paper, but it’s going well I think.
It has also been very quiet around here.
G and I ended our relationship about 2 weeks ago, but we’re still amicable. He left to go to North Carolina and I’m still here in Jacksonville trying to pick up the pieces and establish some sense of normalcy. But this isn’t a post to air my laundry, this is just another of my attempts to do something normal, something..familiar.
Hopefully I’ll resume posting in a timely fashion, and I hope i haven’t lost all of my readers in the time that I’ve been gone. To all those who have been supportive the past few weeks, I appreciate it. I hope i can someday return the favor.
