Not really.  I’m sure county commissioners around the country have been arrested for assaulting other public officials.  Yep.  Happens all the time.

Loretta Nall highlights the arrest of Coosa County Commissioner Randall Dunham, who was busted for punching Kellyton Volunteer Fire Department chief Jerry Sewell.  Over the implementation of the area’s 911 service.  As Loretta says, “Good thing it wasn’t more than one lick or they might have had to call 911.”
