I think the lawyer’s comment could fit this piece in the Crazy Train category.
Yeah, you’re right. Sounds like the defense wants to paint Larry as a clueless dupe of the scheming Blount and LaPierre, who were in their turn being duped by Remon.
*sigh*
While I’m appalled that our local pols sell out so cheap, there are apparently people who think that means that they weren’t corrupt — just super-naive. Like that’s really much better.
Yeah, it must be killing Larry to sit there while his lawyers paint him as gullible and clueless. I’d prefer smart, honest political leaders myself.
