Investment banker Bill Blount would plead guilty to a charge of bribery and another charge of conspiracy and forfeit $1 million, under terms of a plea agreement filed this morning in federal court.
In return, he’ll get a sentence recommendation of 52 months — four more than LaPierre.
It must be one hell of a case. I’m more than a little interested in seeing what kind of deal he got.
