Set your DVRs, or your eyeballs, to watch Blueprint America on The NewsHour tonight and tomorrow night, 6 PM CDT on Alabama Public Television.

Tonight’s report addresses the proposed Northern Beltline, a “zombie highway”.  This road was, IIRC, supposed to be the completion of the I-459 loop.  If you’ve never seen the proposed route, take a look at one of the PDF files here and note that the eastern end of the Beltline is nowhere near I-459.  Tomorrow night’s program looks at Birmingham’s underfunded public transit system.

This is must-see TV for citizens who want to be informed on issues that impact all of us — don’t miss it!
