Arachnophilia

I knew I had a good reason to support this man.

I love spiders. Our house is full of those little crabby ones that jump up at things like houseflies or fruit flies or the ants that live in the ficus tree. And the yard is full of “banana” spiders and spiny orb weavers.

Mom brag: DD16’s girls’ choir was singing the anthem in church recently when she noticed a tiny spider on the sleeve of her robe. She continued to sing as it crawled up her arm and disappeared from view down her back. Maybe she can be president some day.

  1. I admire how calm and cool he is under ANY circumstance! He is going to be one great president. Putin better watch out!

We have the coolest “writing spider” living in our crepe myrtle right now. Napoleon and I go and check it out every day to see if it’s added to its beautiful web. I did take a pass on watching it lunch yesterday though….

I am with Lisa. Obama’s steady hand is comforting to me.

Ugh! I am SO not a spider person! They completely creep me out.

He seems to be pretty willing to hold whatever you ask him to — scroll down on this page to see him holding a knitter’s sock in progress.

It looks like he squished the spider though :(
