Happy Blogiversary To Us
Today is the three-year blogiversary of the Blues. I forgot all about our two-year, and I nearly let this one slip by as well. Time does indeed fly. When nephew Zach told me back in the summer of 2005 that I needed a blog of my very own, I didn’t dream we’d still be around three years later.
It’s been a great ride, connecting with people across the country, and even a few around the world, meeting other bloggers in real time, learning lots of cool stuff, and making new friends. There’s almost always some political intrigue to chronicle, and, if not, the garden provides good material.
Thanks to my fellow posters Del, Bill, Zach, and Rep. Patricia Todd. Thanks to the bloggers who have invited me to share their space from time to time: Tom and the crew at If I Ran the Zoo, Steve M. at No More Mister Nice Blog, Melissa and the team at Shakesville, Pam at Pam’s House Blend, and Mooncat and her cohorts at Left In Alabama.
And big virtual hugs to our readers! Without you, we’d only be a tree falling in the forest.

You were my inspiration to begin blogging. So happy third and I wish you many more!! Let’s get together…if I survive in Hell!! Tell Satan I have discovered something worse than squirrels. It’s called sleeping in a “tent city” where you can hear every man within a square mile snoring. Truly a circle of hell!!
