This is a big one. Don is 75 today, and he puts us young whippersnappers to shame, tirelessly lobbying the Alabama legislature to institute Initiative and Referendum and growing his own tomatoes and peppers and scuppernongs and a whole mess of other produce. Have a great day, Don!

Thanks, with appreciation and affection, Kathy. This is quite a pleasant surprise. I’m behind on my usual activies today because of email and phone greetings and best wishes, but I never expected to be remembered on a blog.
