Okay, for all the, um, one of you clamoring for show pictures, here are a couple of the tree. The costume is incredible! I wish I had a good shot from the back, which shows when I’m “destroyed” and “fallen” in Act Two. Not only merely dead, but really most sincerely dead. You still have one more opportunity to see the show this afternoon at 2:30 at Virginia Samford Theatre.

Gorgeous!
Love it! Thanks for posting the pictures!!
Stunning! Just gorgeous!
Who is that goddess dressed up like a tree?
so when do you and gorgeous costume appear here–in the big apple? must be fun to have show biz encounter as relief from politics.
Thanks, everyone! I’m not ready for Broadway, but the costume certainly is, and some of my fellow actors are as well. This has been great fun — and definitely a nice distraction from politics.
Let me the first to say: Nice trunk!
Thanks, Roy!
Wowee! Fantastical!
You make a beautiful tree!!
Thanks!
This costume is terrific! What is the “hood” made out of?
Lisa, I’m honestly not sure. Some kind of stiff but flexible material cut into shape and then covered with fabric. Costume designer and miracle worker Todd Roberts built it.
