"Oh, I hope he does get the nomination! That will destroy the GOP and put the Dems in power for the next quarter century!" that kind of thing. Maybe it's because we live in Bibleland, but the idea of his winning just doesn't seem that far-fetched to me. And even without the possibility of his becoming President, just the fact that he's mainstream and not relegated to the fringe is plenty scary enough.
