Happy Last Day of 2007
Well, here it is. The end of a year that has sucked almost beyond belief for my family. I hesitate to say that 2008 will be better — I don’t want to jinx it — but I’m hoping.
So. Who has big plans for the evening, and what are they? Dear Husband and I have been fighting nasty colds for a few days, so we’re going to stay home and watch football. Yeah, we’re old and boring. ![]()

Hey, Kath, I’m there with ya. I’ll be coughing my way into 2008 and will stay parked at home tonight.

Ugh — sorry to hear that. This gunk does seem to be making the rounds.

Hey, I was just checking to see how you were, at the end of what must have been a truly awful year for your family. I’m thinking good riddance to 2007, too. Which is why I’m celebrating with a good book, while both girls and the houseguest are out for the evening.

We are old and boring too. but Auburn football is not boring so the evening won’t be a total waste. After that it’s dodging bullets and Happy New Year!

KathyF, that sounds like a great idea. Joe, you’re right — Auburn won’t be boring. I do hope you avoid the gunfire.
