Well, here it is. The end of a year that has sucked almost beyond belief for my family. I hesitate to say that 2008 will be better — I don’t want to jinx it — but I’m hoping.
So. Who has big plans for the evening, and what are they? Dear Husband and I have been fighting nasty colds for a few days, so we’re going to stay home and watch football. Yeah, we’re old and boring.
Hey, Kath, I’m there with ya. I’ll be coughing my way into 2008 and will stay parked at home tonight.
Ugh — sorry to hear that. This gunk does seem to be making the rounds.
Hey, I was just checking to see how you were, at the end of what must have been a truly awful year for your family. I’m thinking good riddance to 2007, too. Which is why I’m celebrating with a good book, while both girls and the houseguest are out for the evening.
We are old and boring too. but Auburn football is not boring so the evening won’t be a total waste. After that it’s dodging bullets and Happy New Year!
KathyF, that sounds like a great idea. Joe, you’re right — Auburn won’t be boring. I do hope you avoid the gunfire.
War Damn Eagle!!!
“War Damn Eagle!!!”
Indeed! That was a nail-biter.
