Kathy, the thing I was getting at is that this whole situation is mildly reminiscent of a certain other poster who used to frequent Dan’s and Wheeler’s blogs whenever King’s name was mentioned. Funny how I’ve forgotten his name, but I’m sure someone else here remembers him.

I respect your blog and would not do anything to disrespect you, your blog, or your blog readers.

The Attorney General’s Office has always been a lightning rod. He will be criticized whatever he does. It is seldom a stepping stone for higher office because it is so controversial.

I personally like Troy King. He has impressed alot of people who have actually met him and for good reasons.

Although, he can appear theatrical. I like his speaking style. His real strength is talking with people one to one.

I doubt he would want me to be his campaign manager. I am too old. That is really a young persons game.

See, Roy? Tom came in third, so I guess that means he does get to tell me — oh, wait — no, he doesn’t. ALMod, I’m beginning to think that Tom is auditioning to be Troy’s campaign manager in 2010, which, as Lisa points out, is likely to be a losing proposition. On June 6th, Greg Canfield led the Primary with 3,992 votes (44%). Tom Davis gathered 1,638 votes (18%). Della Fancher placed second with 2,570 votes (28%).

Greg Canfield welcomed the endorsement of Tom Davis. “I appreciate and value Mr. Davis’ support and endorsement of my candidacy in the Run-off on July 18th,” said Canfield. “Tom Davis’ grassroots support in Mountain Brook, Vestavia, Cahaba Heights, and Shelby County was evident in this election. Tom, have you considered making a Chris Crocker-like video for Troy? You're really starting to sound like him. "Leave Troy King alone! Leave him alone!!!" Sounds like you love him as much as Chris loves Britney Spears. Sorry if you don't like it when citizens express negative opinions about elected officials, but that's the inevitable result of what some of us call the First Amendment.
