Lawmakers always seem to find the time to pass pay raises for themselves. Funny, how this works.

I wasn’t too upset about the pay raise, given how long it had been since the last one. But then we had the Senate shutdown and pretty much a wasted session, with — so far — no meaningful ethics reform, and that ticked me off.
