Memorial Day was very bitter for me this year. Living in Nancy Pelosi’s district, I’m quite ashamed about how the Democratic leadership dropped the ball on the war funding resolution.

Thanks, Kvatch. I confess I’m envious, even though I’m disappointed with the Democrats’ strategy (if that’s what it was). My Congressman pretty much marches lockstep with Bush, although he did tell us a few months ago that gay marriage was a bigger threat to the US than terrorism.
