It should not escape our attention that the letter writer lives in “Hot” Springs. Coicidence? I don’t think so. Friggin’ liberals!

Oh, where did I read about this? It’s a spoof. Connie is a man, a lawyer IIRC, and his extremely dry sense of humor has gotten him in trouble before now, I think.

Whew, I thought you all had found the next head of the EPA.

Okay, I fell for it. Del is right; the letter is real, but the author has his tongue (or his pen?) firmly planted in his cheek.

  5. Jennifer Says:

Yeah, when I read it yesterday I almost fell for it, but for humanity’s sake, I couldn’t accept there was someone that stupid who was literate enough to write a letter to the editor!!

A Paul Greenberg column talking about the national reaction to the satire published by his paper was the first I’d heard of it. I think I am going to add Mr. Meskimen’s name to the “people I’d most like to have dinner with” list. Do you think he likes crawfish? Y’all can all come too.

    It’s a date!
