Argo Leadership Goes To War With Its Citizens

Alabama Moderate reports that Argo’s leadership has issued a press release stating that it will not allow its citizens to vote on annexation into Springville and that it will fight a vote all the way to the Alabama Supreme Court.  Not just no, but hell no.  And the leaders think it’s perfectly fine to use the town’s treasury to pay their court and attorney fees.  Can you say “chutpah”?

Stay tuned.  This is just going to get more interesting.
