Valerie Abbott To Reintroduce Inclusion Resolution Today

The Birmingham Terminal reports that Councilor Valerie Abbott will reintroduce an inclusion resolution that was voted down at the March 27th City Council meeting.  Councilor Abbott says she has the votes to pass it today, and based on this, she’s probably right.  It sounds like the negative publicity generated not only by the previous defeat but also by the obnoxious behavior of the “no” voters has changed some minds.  And, if we’re lucky, Councilor Joel Montgomery will still be at home recovering from his “fall”.

I’ll update ASAP.
