The economy is GOOD! This is how capitalism works, right? People get paid what they're worth, right? Are you sure that there isn't a union somewhere that is responsible for that 40% nose-dive? Tax breaks are given to big corporations. The corporations then give the CEO that doesn't do much an absorbient contract because he's connected to someone instead of bumping up the most qualified and loyal employee, he runs the company into the ground but still gets paid, then he's able to give to charities that are now taking care of the laid-off employees who actually did the work that kept the company going...
