It’s the day before Thanksgiving, and I’m contemplating gratitude for thinks too numerous to count.
I am thankful that Daddy is still with us this year. He was diagnosed with lung cancer just over a year ago, and the statistics were not in his favor.
I am thankful for my family, the one I was born with, the one I acquired when I married, and the people who have become family to me over the years. I am most especially grateful for my three girls, who make life wonderful and interesting every day.
I am thankful for my friends, and that includes the virtual ones who come here to read and comment. Even the ones who think I’m full of it.
I’m thankful for my animal buddies, who love me no matter what, as long as I feed them and pet them.
I’m thankful for this beautiful world we inhabit, and I pray that one day it will see peace throughout.
I pray that all of you have a safe and blessed holiday.
Happy Thanksgiving, Kathy. We readers are grateful for you and your writing.
Thanks, Katharine.
Kathy, I pray that your entire family can savor the moment of this holiday and enjoy a wonderful and Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you, Don. We’ll do our best.
