I agree. Our political representatives should truly be representative. Shutting out gays and racial minorities when it comes time to choose candidates is short-sighted. And could Gov. Dean have been influenced at all by our very own Pam Spaulding of Pam’s House Blend, who served as a panelist for the election analysts’ roundtable at the International Gay & Lesbian Leadership Conference, where Dean made his statement? I bet he was. Go Pam!
