I LOVE the badge! Awesome! :)

  2. Bottom Line says:

It should say “The ass you save may be your own at the expense of the rest of the country”

  3. Barry says:

“Bottom Line” is already prematurely bitter. If the Democrats TRIED to screw things up, they could never match the ineptitude and incompetence of Bush and his pet dog Rummy. The asses that will most likely be saved are wearing our country’s uniform in Iraq.

  4. Bottom Line says:

History is the best judge. Just like I remember the Reagan-haters and their disillusioned views of his policies, history will clarify your fogged up glasses you are viewing events through.

  5. Bill says:

Did history clear up his deficits our children will inherit? Didn’t think so…..

  6. Bottom Line says:

Are you speaking Russian? Didn’t think so.

  7. Bill says:

    BL,

You view the world largely through a military lense. I view it primarily through an economic lense. Both views are legitimate and neither can be used exclusively. However, thanks to ridiculous deficit spending (and don’t give me the liberal Democratic spender pablum….it wasn’t Democrats calling for tax cuts while being in the middle of two wars), our country is being purchased by the Saudis, the Chinese, the Japanese, the Kuwaitis, etc, etc, etc.

No I don’t speak Russian. Pick the language of the country your children will be working to pay off becasue of what you and gave them as an inheritance.

  8. Bottom Line says:

Inheritance? Are you kidding me the death tax is going to take care of that anyway. And actually the tax cuts spurred the economy and actually increased revenue.

  9. Bill says:

Oh, the Laffer curve. I didn’t realize anyone still believed in that nonsense.

The “inheritance” I referred to is the national debt. If you want to look at the issue with some kind of intellectual honesty, review the national debt figures between from 1981 through 1992 and again from 2001 through the present and compare them to other periods in our recent history.

For what it’s worth, I agree with you on inheritance taxes. They provide the wrong incentives. Just like cutting taxes when you won’t stop spending like a drunk in a whorehouse.
