Did anyone have a chance to ask Steve French and/or Greg Canfield about either initiative and referendum or PAC-to-PAC transfers? I couldn't make it but I so wish I could have.

Kathy I could just kiss you (I emailed HUGS to you already) for asking my question of the two candidates you had the opportunity to ask, and I’m pleased to learn that both candidates for State Senate District 16, Jabo Waggoner and Russ Parker, said publicly that they support Initiative and Referendum for Alabamians. Now, we need to see what the winner between these two actually does to give it to us when the 2007 legislative session starts in March.

I doubt we'll get Gov or Lt. Gov, but I do expect to see Waggoner, French, Canfield, and Williams. I'll see what I can find out.

If any candidates for Governor, Lt. Governor or the legislature show up I wish I could be there to ask each one their position on helping to make Alabama the 25th Initiative and Referendum state so voters could introduce some sorely needed legislation that the legislature refuses to deal with adequately. If those candidates appear I hope someone will ask them for me and let me know what their responses are.
