Proof of Something I Already Knew

Kids are almost always better with computers than their parents are.  A three-year-old bought himself a pink convertible on eBay, using his mother’s password and the “Buy It Now” option.  That’s what happens when you click “remember me on this computer” or other similar options.  I hope my children don’t hear about this and get ideas.  (Fortunately, the seller didn’t hold the parents to the $17,000 bid.)

HA! And I thought my 3 year old was smart because he escapes the house and gets in the van and cranks it.

That is hilarious! And I thought my kid was precocious because he dialed 911 when he was a year old. ;)

I’m convinced she really bid the item herself and her husband got mad at her.

My daughter dialled 911 when she was about 3, I think, because her brother was “being mean” to her. She’d learned how in preschool, NATURALLY. When they answered I think she realized she’d gone too far and hung up. I was under the house dealing with a burst pipe at the time (big freeze) and only happened to field the callback from the 911 operator when I came in to get a flathead instead of a Phillips. They were NOT amused. I tried the “oh, these crazy kids!” approach but the guy was very pissy about it.
