you know, their rhetoric and fear mongering aside, i think they are essentially correct.

it is true that in alabama: 1) most blacks are democrats, and 2) they are also socially conservative (see their recent “covenant”). given those facts, will the democratic pary in alabama have room for homosexuals? based on the fiasco over district 54 and also the anti-gay langauge in the covenant, i thinkt he answer, thus far at least, is no.

will that result in blacks leaving the party, as agape urges? or will that result in the homosexuals and all us pro-gay folks forming a new party?

i don’t know, but i’m hoping for the latter.
