Capitol Police Still Investigating Report of Gunfire In Rayburn Building

This is what happens when I leave the house for a while. I’ve been listening to MSNBC on the satellite radio, and it sounds like the police are using, as they put it, “an abundance of caution” in shutting down buildings and searching for evidence of shots fired. That seems like a smart move to me.

It’s a bit creepy to realize that we were staying in a hotel just on the other side of the Capitol only a couple of days ago. Leave it to us to miss the excitement…

It’s XM — I get Air America that way.

I swear to God, the first thing I thought was “they (you know, They, Them) staged this because there’s some news they either don’t want covered at all, or want to slide under the radar.” WAY too paranoid. And I haven’t been to Salon’s Table Talk boards in months and months.

Must be Hayden getting confirmed so easily.

No more outbursts. Ustmay eebay oremay arefulcay ownay…

Del, LOL! I thought, and even said, that Karl Rove must have been hanging around the Rayburn building today.
