Rep. William Jefferson (D-LA) needs to get some lessons on the appropriate way to take, and hide, bribes. First, don’t act all nervous and joke around about being taped and writing in code. Act like you’re doing something perfectly legal and straightforward. Then, when you’re confronted with the tape, you can pretend you didn’t do anything wrong, and your gullible constituents might actually believe you.
Second, anybody who watches crime shows knows you don’t hide money in the freezer. It’s the first place the cops will look. You need to launder it ASAP so no one can find the evidence.
Third, you could try the radical concepts of honesty and integrity. Then you wouldn’t have to worry about steps one and two.

No, but you would have to find a new job.
Well, there is that.
Sounds like a simple case of a simple ass and his frozen assets.
Yeah, and his cold, hard cash too.
