In the Public Interest

Debbie Murphree, candidate for Place 2 on the Alabama Public Service Commission, dropped by the Blues yesterday. She also emailed me her campaign website, and I invite my Alabama readers to take a look.

Again, I’m not endorsing candidates, but I think informed voters make better choices.

Addendum: Susan Parker is also running for this position. Susan has been active in the constitutional reform movement, working with Greater Birmingham Ministries to educate voters about the need for a new constitution. She served one term as State Auditor and then ran against Jeff Sessions in the 2002 Senate race.

Damn it! I knew I should have voted in 2002 (I was overseas, give me a break). I guess I can’t complain about Jeff Sessions anymore.

Poser, we’ll give you a pass and let you complain about Jeff all you want. We know you would have voted against him if you’d been here.
