Scottie’s Outta There!

Poor Scottie McClellan. His resignation is long overdue, both because of his constant lying and stonewalling and in the interest of his future mental health.

Well, maybe his physical health too. All that spinning can’t be good for the inner ear.

Karl Rove is “giving up” some of his policy responsibilities in order to focus on politics in run-up to the 2006 midterm elections. That means we can expect campaigns to get really nasty very quickly.

Bush had some kind words for Scottie:

“I thought he handled his assignment with class, integrity [bwahahahahaha!],” the president said. “It’s going to be hard to replace Scott [hard to find someone else who will lie so long and hard], but nevertheless he made the decision and I accepted it. One of these days, he and I are going to be rocking in chairs in Texas and talking about the good old days.”

Which good old days would those be?

Perhaps one or maybe both of these chairs will have a current of Electricity flowing through them?
Punishment for war crimes, you know…
