Tom DeLay has been named to the House subcommittee that oversees the Justice Department — the Justice Department that’s investigating the Abramoff influence-peddling scandal. He also got Duke Cunningham’s old seat on the Appropriations Committee. I guess he can still inspire fear among his colleagues.
Unbelievable. Wonder how much airtime this will get?
It’ll be on Olbermann. Otherwise, probably not much. Just another boring Republican corruption scandal.
They just don’t get it, do they!?!
How is that case down in Texas going? We haven’t heard anything about it lately.
Good question, Del. As far as I can tell, Ronnie Earle is still investigating, now looking into Abramoff-related contributions to Texans for a Republican Majority. I don’t know when the trial is supposed to start.
