The transportation director for the Hoover City Schools resigned after being charged with indecent exposure. He apparently thought it would be a good idea to appear naked on an interstate overpass. When I started reading the story, I figured he had taken a pee outside or something of that sort, but this was way more spectacular.
An Autauga County sheriff’s deputy found [the man] nude on a rural Interstate 65 overpass early Thursday morning. The sheriff’s department has received a dozen complaints, dating to Sept. 29, of a nude man on or around the Autauga County Road 68 overpass where Young was arrested.
My guess is these incidents somehow involved medication — either too much or not enough. Or they could have been the result of excessive commuting; the poor guy lives in Prattville (just north of Montgomery) and had to drive to and from Birmingham every day. That would be enough to make me snap. But I imagine the sight of my naked self on an overpass would result in a lot more than twelve complaints 8).
What, nobody would phone in a compliment?
Maybe my husband, but he’d be more likely to send the guys with the butterfly nets.
