UPDATE: The city of Montgomery has survived the “invasion” of the Gay Pride Festival. In fact, the Montgomery Advertiser had a really nice article covering the weekend’s events. And there’s not a single picture of a guy in garish makeup and big hair. It just didn’t live up to the Christian Coalition hype. I’m sure John Giles is disappointed. It’s hard to stir up fear and loathing for people who look just like your friends and neighbors.
