He Loves Lucy
Those of you who make the drive up I-65 from Montgomery to Birmingham are quite familiar with the billboard that reads, “Go to Church or the Devil Will Get You”. It’s been a fixture there as long as I can remember. But now the sign has been replaced with “We Love Lucy”, indicating the owner’s support of Lucy Baxley for governor. This makes me wonder if the guy is less of a wingnut than I thought, or if Lucy is more of one. I hope she’s not. She is, for those of you not from around here, our current Lieutenant Governor and (amazingly enough in this red state) a Democrat.
